Lofoten Ski Lodge is established at Kalle in an old harbour building and is a hidden gem at the heart of all the good skiing on the Lofoten islands. We offer active people and business groups a unique combination of top quality food, rough-luxe accommodation in renovated traditional fisherman's cabins and ski guiding with certified mountain guides from Northern Alpine Guides. From February to May we offer week long and weekend ski touring holidays for powder loving people. Mid week breaks are also available. We provide full board accommodation and at the Lodge we have two big lounges with fireplaces, dining room, fully licensed bar, media and seminar room, library, jacuzzi and a Sauna with a stairway right into the Norwegian sea. We also have a ski tuning and prepping room as well as a drying room for boots, skins and gloves. Here we have all the facilities, as well as staff, guides and atmosphere to provide you an unforgettable Lofoten ski vacation. We are proud to invite you to a historical and original place with all modern upgrades. The Lofoten Ski Lodge is surrounded by spectacular nature with a dramatic landscape where you drink water from our very own alpine lake, breathe pure air, listen to the sound of silence and get a taste of the local food. We located right on the waterfront and underneath the majestic mountain of Vågakallen where we are remote and alone, but yet only 15 minutes drive from Lofotens capital. We accommodate up to 50 people in twin and double bedrooms with single and triple options. Each fisherman´s cabin sleeps from 2-6 people very comfortably. All of them with high standard and includes a fireplace in the living room, a bathroom and kitchen. In both of our lounges you can sit back in front of the fireplace and relax with good views. Right outside there is a spacious deck equipped with a sauna and a jacuzzi available for our guest and we got BBQ facilities for days with sunshine and warmer temperatures. Welcome!

It’s almost close to impossible to give Lofoten ‘s intense beauty justice on film and photo, but this is pretty much as good as it gets! We are very much looking forward to see this movie! The cabins are right at the water front. They are cozy, spacious and each has two double bedrooms. All cabins has two floors. We still have a few openings for an Easter Escape! It’s been a while since we did an update, so here is one! The season is in full effect and we’ve had a great time so far. Northern Alpine Guides been running avalanche courses, guided and the guests this February has been really fun. This past week we have hosted Tahoe Wilderness Medicine, LLC for the second year in a row. It looked like they loved the food, cabins, sauna, jacuzzi and Yoga classes:) Thanks for coming, see you next year! It did rain at sea level, but that’s life in Lofoten. Now it’s all white and pretty again! This week we are looking forward to hosting even more guests and the “high” season is just about to start. All the guides from Northern Alpine Guides are coming and the magical seasonal community is again a reality. Every year we pinch our arms. How can we be so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, work with so many nice and professional people and host so many amazing skiers from all over the world! We are really excited that’s for sure! Here is a little glimpse of what we have been up to the last weeks..... everything from powder skiing, storm chasing, renovating cabins, opening a new bar and cooking food for an active mind and body. So many hard working and fun loving people in this operation! @maren_bistrup and @blomsa have prepped well for your arrival! We are also so excited that the Lodge is Eco Light House Certified and we are able to offer our guests the best of Lofoten with minimal impact. We are so excited for winter to come and to work with Lisa Blom at Nyvågar in Kabelvåg! Our joint interest in Adventures and Sustainability has brought us together. With local produce with a twist of local and international inspiration we serve up plenty of food to our hungry guests. The after-ski waffles, sauna, the sound of silence and certified guides to keep you safe and to sniff out the good snow is a pretty good combo! The high standard beds in spacious double rooms at the second floor of your cabin invites you to a good rest after a long day. Winter can’t come soon enough! You'll sleep in waterfront cabins with high standard beds in spacious double rooms at the second floor of your cabin. With little to no light pollution, the stars and Northern Lights is spectacular when visible right out side your cabin window. After a day in the mountains these cabins are really inviting for good rest after waffles, dinner and maybe a sauna session... (All the cabins has internett.)

We wrapped up the season a few weeks ago, and it was another season for the books! But a HUGE THANK YOU to the wonderful staff, guides, guests, partners and everyone involved must be in place. It is a true luxury to host and work with you all! The smooth operators: Eddie, Maren, Elisa, Magdalena, Rosa and Ragnhild! The guides: Seth, Sjur, Mark, Sami, Chris, Tim, Iraitz, Erica, Dylan, Allen, Marius, Lars Martin, Håkon, Mathe! The ski and yoga partners Bree, Kjersti &Chanell, Simon, Neil and all the other visiting guides. The “backstage” managers Per, Randi and handyman Piotr. @northernalpineguides moved quickly into the Svalbard Ski and Sail season with the @skydancer and now the biking, hiking and climbing season is in full effect here in Lofoten. We are inspired to take active breaks from Social media and it turns out it’s a great thing😜 So cheers for a great ski season passed and cheers for a great summer ahead! Catch you on the flip side!
